Black Panther hit theaters with record sales numbers, but its soundtrack, produced and curated by rapper Kendrick, Lamar is also worth note.

“The concept of producing and composing a project other than my own has always been ideal,” Kendrick Lamar wrote on Twitter. “I appreciate the experience love ones. Continue to be great.”

The album has 16 original tracks from some of the biggest names in rap and hip-hop. Alongside Lamar is Vince Staples, Khalid, Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott, and many more have featured appearances in Black Panther: The Album.

The album opener, “Black Panther,” finds Lamar rapping in the voice of the superhero’s alter ego, T’Challa, king of the fictional African nation of Wakanda.

The album has great political undertones and its lyrics will leave you thinking for day

The album is overall something great to listen to and may lead to nonstop blasting ‘Paramedics.’ All of the songs are satisfying to listen to and you won’t be dissapointed.
